I grew up in Highland Park, Michigan, which is where my interest sparked to understand how the world around me operated regarding human behavior, environment, and economic status. That led me to become an inquisitive child with a passion for social work. While working in the non-profit housing sector, I began to see the lack of quality affordable housing accessible to families, including my own.
During conversations with investors and landlords, I learned that it wasn't that they didn't want to accept low-income housing vouchers; they didn't understand how it worked. I saw a gap and filled it with TSF Consulting, LLC. I began to educate and assist those interested with the documentation, HQS inspections, obtaining occupancy certificates, and acting as a liaison between the landlord and tenant. Shortly after, I offered project management and tenant placement services with full-service staff.
